The BEAST retires…for a bit

Not quite a pretty thing. More of a mountain bike scooter.

From a hot 1450cc hunk of a BEAST, we swapped to a hotted up hairdryer of a 50cc Taiwanese scooter. Not exactly the Dolce Vita variety, we picked one up from Ben at Decostoplodge in Louganville.  The scooter is the best way to discover the hidden secrets of Espiritu Santo, we were told: blue holes, white beaches, sunsets and oodles of lovely people!

A romantic birthday treat becomes a couples night out

Moyyan House by the Sea by day

Spot the other couples

Now, is there really any girl that is not a bit cheesy? I mean we gotta own up. It is in all of us a wee bit! So, a candlelit dinner a deux on the secluded beach at Moyyan on Santo really got my hopes up! Motorbiking can be really rather uncharming, so when Mr. P decided to arrange a VERY SPECIAL TREAT, I got twinkly…Especially after having been treated to the most fabulous aromatherapy massage with Waterlily Australian Spa products at the Moyyan Day Spa (totally recommended). But, unfortunately seclusion, romance and magic were a bit lacking when we became part of a ‘SPOT THE COUPLE,’ and even a walk on the beach under the perfect MOON made me feel silly!

Check out this cool knit bag!

A fab smile and a great knit attracted me to this stall. I’m always on the hunt for the perfect bag and I spotted this rather interesting number made by this local Santo girl. I’m not sure on the carrying or holding power of this little accessory but those colours together spelled F-U-N, and I just love A GOOD KNIT!
