Tiepolo’s masterpiece at the Residenz is the largest fresco in the world, and Antonio Bossi, who collaborated with him on the fresco stucco work and the rest of the palace went stark raving mad at the finish!
Tiepolo’s masterpiece, ‘Apollo and the Continents’ is a true discovery, as is the fantastic retro swimsuit I purchased at Suicide Glam in Würzburg. The Suicide Glam boutique has a range of swimsuits, bikinis, dresses and jerseys all with a 50′s cut. They make many of the pieces locally and count their success along with a thriving online store.
Dominikanergasse street also houses Mode Nostalgie a sophisticated second hand shop with designer labels like Chloé, Aigner and Burberry, which although a bit dated, they are in great condition and at a fraction of the original price!
Würzburg is going to be so, so, so hard to leave!!
