Not being a cowgirl, but definitely a biker chick…Route 66 in Sydney is a STOP

On the border of Darlinghurst, Crown Street is stacked full of vintage shops and deli’s. There is seriously nothing else, just one boutique after another. It’s truly amazing. On the prowl for presents, I ran into the Route 66 shop and was sweet-talked by this gorgeous assistant on the eve of his trip to the renowned Purple Yoga Retreat in Goa! Breathe baby, breathe…

Outpost project, Sydney – a whole island given over to Street Art

Cockatoo Island has been many things from a prison, a shipbuilding yard, a school and a hospital, but nothing has been quite as dramatic as a blank canvas for artists and skateboarders involved in Outpost’s ART FROM THE STREET from 04 Nov to 11 Dec. Anthony Lister, Buff Diss, Dmote, Ethos, Roa and my favourite KID ZOOM are all blown up to large scale, transforming the empty industrial spaces on the island. WHOA!

Colour blocking - red spells drama

And just as I thought there was NO MORE left to see in Sydney before our departure, Mr. P and I came across this red flower at a bus stop. In a sweltering 30 degrees, this woman looked spectacularly cool!  ROCK on!
