How many drinks do you need for this complete abandonment?

Can awful get worse? Oh yes! Not sure how people do it, but there seemed to be some pretty easy sleepers on board the ferry.  I COULD NOT closes my eyes, not even for 5 minutes, and I can truthfully say that somehow 500 euros extra for a bunk bed didn’t seem so bad.

Revisiting a nightmare journey from a safe place

You have got to be joking! Sleep on this?

AWFUL ! AWFUL ! AWFUL!

Having not paid the extra 500 euros for a bunk bed (total rip off) on the Naviera Armas Ferry from Huelva to Gran Canaria, there was certainly no shut eye for me on board this baby! Really, I just don’t do floors and certainly can’t do reclining seats. Plus it was freezing and there was light coming from everywhere and that was just for STARTERS. Then of course there was the snoring, babies crying , phone alarms and creaky cielings (what are these boats made of ?), plus the odd high-level-voice conversation.  I couldn’t even while away the hours online because the WiFi didn’t always work. Eeek! It was just me and my head – SCARY.
