I fell in love with these gorgeous espadrilles in Elorza’s shop window. I didn’t realise I was buying into a whole Basque tradition. They wear these to dance and the print is straight off the headscarfs of their local costume. At just 9 euros I thought they would look just fab with my waterless Levi’s jeans and cream short-sleeved National Geographic tee. Tip: always buy a size smaller. They really DO GIVE.
