Today is the Diamond Jubilee and tomorrow I’m off to Germany, so…

Wenn ich für einen Tag Königin wäre, würde ich schnell ein paar Gesetze einführen! Montag wäre Frauen Tag: Frauen würden das Recht auf Prioritätssitze und Vorrang in Warteschlangen und auf den Strassen haben! Am Montag würde es besondere Vergnügungen geben, wie etwa laechelnde Politessen; ein liebevoller Partner, Freund oder Mann – und kostenlose, individuell angepasste Jeans für Motoradfahrerinnen, von Donna Ida. Montag würde nach einer Weile so viel besser als Freitag sein, und die Woche würde eine voelllig neue und aufregende Aussicht erreichen!

If I were Queen for a day, I would pass some quick laws! I would make Monday Ladies’ Day. Women would get priority for seating, queues and right of way on the road! I would load Monday with special treats like smiling traffic wardens; loving partners, boyfriends, husbands and free customised Donna Ida jeans for lady motorbikers. Monday would eventually end up being so much better then Friday that the whole week would take on a new and completely exciting perspective!

Si pudiera ser Reina por un dia…

La Reina de Inglaterra
Si pudiera ser Reina por un dia, propondría rapido algunas leyes: Los lunes serían los días de
chicas, en este dia las mujeres tendrian prioridad en asientos, filas y derecho a paso en
las calles.  Todos los lunes estarian llenos de policias de trafico sonrientes, parejas felices, novios, esposos y jeans Dona Ida personalizados para las chicas que andan en motos. Los lunes terminarían siendo mucho mejor que los viernes, dando una nueva perspectiva a todo.

The BEAST, the girls and Kiss Me Deadly big British knickers!

It wasn’t JUST Mr. P that got excited when Kiss Me Deadly designer/owner Catherine asked us down for Jubilee celebrations at their NEW shop Paolita on 18 New Quebec Street W1; the BEAST got utterly spoilt with all the female attention!!

Kiss Me Deadly has just launched a 3-piece swimwear collection (2 bikinis and 1 swimsuit), and how better to show it off then to have Mamselle Maz & Miss Miranda glamourously wear them on a hot balmy evening on the eve of all the Jubilee festivities? It was terribly reminiscent of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof – elegant, but ever, ever so sexy.

Of course there are also the Kiss Me Deadly (sigh, sigh) BIG knickers – BRITISH
made and ever so high. They do make the best knickers and a particular favourite on the night was The Fifi with a see through mesh back! Girls were queuing in the shop to take them away with their matching soft cup teal bralettes.

Although, I must say I do have a wee hankering for this pink silk pair of Vargas Panties. They do them in black all the time, but the current trend in peach and blue for spring could be quite something under a long black pleated organza skirt…or even boring old bike leathers?… sweet.

What would you do if you were Queen for a day?

London’s ‘Queen of Jeans’, Donna Ida has launched a campaign called ‘Queen for a Day‘ to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee, which sees fashion insiders talking about what they would do if they had the crown for a day. I was kindly invited to take part and here’s what I would do:
