Calabria isn’t exactly a FASHION region and Cosenza is a beautiful medieval city virtually untouched by earthquakes since the 1300′s, but without a fashionista in sight…but this is where I finally get to try out Mia Bags.
Milan born, Monica Bianco graduated in psychology at UCSB and she started designing in the USA in 1994. From the start her whole family has been involved in the Italian manufacturing process. I got a glimpse of a bag in Fred Segal in LA, but not until visiting CAROFIGLIO DONNA boutique in Cosenza did I get a proper peruse. And there is just no way I can possibly leave Italy without the khaki combo one!
