The first time I went into Guiselle’s concept store, it felt like being home, in Europe.
Maybe it’s Guiselle’s Alsatian roots or even some of her labels like Melissa Odabash, Roberta Freymann and Custo. But really, a lady preparing a window display in Central America with this kind of board deserves instant adoration!

Very travelled, Guiselle is still involved in interior design finishes and she represents various European and Columbian firms, as evidenced by her very cool shop space.

By G is a unique destination shop for resort beachwear and she certainly covers the whole spectrum: Agua Bendita, Caffe, Maaji, Francesca Miranda and more – from intsy weeny bikinis to one-piece swimsuits, with SUPPORT! Then there are loads and loads of different beachwear options for later in the evening including kaftans, blouses, wraps and dresses. It is without a doubt the ideal place to put together a capsule wardrobe for the coast, at whatever age…

By G’s range of accessories from Colombian designers Mishky, Mercedes Salazar and Alfonso Mendoza are exclusive to the shop and new to me. I couldn’t resist and I had to sneak a couple of beach bracelets whilst Mr P was being otherwise entertained.
Guiselle also stocks a range from the collections of thePdesign and Mayla, and has opened shops in Honduras will shortly be opening one in Guatemala.
More will come soon, I am sure. They are needed!
