Melbourne’s Royal Arcade is a definite stop and not just for historical and architectural reasons, but because it has some real, real local design talent and cool boutiques! My boudoir lingerie passion was rekindled at Mazi designer boutique and the bubbly assistant/stylist fed my creativity by letting me try ABSOLUTELY every combination of slip and dress that Effie Evriniadis, the designer behind the label, had on offer. Passionate about lace, muted colour, vintage and a layered look, Effie’s pieces are compulsive for someone who just loves dressing up, and I was so gutted that my gals Catherine from Kissmedeadly and Elizabeth, fashion editor at Daisy Green Magazine weren’t there to try things with me! BOOHOO. I do miss you all!
