Mode City is one of those trade events that you’ve just gotta go to. This year, the 3-day Beachwear + Lingerie event changed its dates, making it earlier to fit in with buyers’ tight schedules. It seemed to have worked … Independents such as Lulu and Lush and biggies like Selfridges were seen milling around. Plus to the delight of designers and agents orders were placed the  FIRST DAY!!

Exhibition areas included  – The Essentials/Cocooning (shapewear, loungewear, homewear and nighttime lingerie),  Just Fashion (sportswear), Designer Labels (luxury lingerie and swimwear) and my fave rave,  Limited Edition  (young designers).
